1 Minute Signal respects the intellectual-property rights of others and takes copyright concerns seriously.
Iron Rune Technologies LLC publishes 1 Minute Signal through its Iron Rune Media imprint. 1 Minute Signal does not accept or host user-submitted content. Our editorial content is selected, developed, and published through our own editorial process.
This policy provides copyright owners and their authorized representatives with a clear way to report material they believe infringes their rights. It is a voluntary copyright-complaint process and does not represent that Iron Rune Technologies LLC maintains a registered DMCA designated agent or operates a user-content notice-and-counter-notice system.
1. Copyright Policy and Scope
We aim to use third-party material only when authorized, properly licensed, in the public domain, or permitted by law, including fair use. We attribute and link to source material where appropriate.
This process is intended for claims of copyright infringement involving material published, displayed, embedded, or linked through 1 Minute Signal. It is not the appropriate process for:
- Disagreements with our analysis, opinions, or editorial conclusions
- Requests to correct factual errors or misleading statements
- Trademark, privacy, defamation, or other non-copyright complaints
- General requests to remove accurate references or links
Potential factual errors should be reported through our Corrections Policy. Other non-copyright concerns may be submitted through our Contact page.
2. Submitting a Copyright Notice
If you believe material available through 1 Minute Signal infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, email a written notice to [email protected].
To help us evaluate your claim promptly and consistently, please include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list of those works
- Identification of the material you believe is infringing, together with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it; please provide the specific 1 Minute Signal URL for each item
- Information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
Please also provide, when available:
- The title and URL of an authorized example of the copyrighted work
- A concise explanation of what you believe has been copied and why you believe the use is infringing
- Any copyright registration number or other information that may help us evaluate the claim
Use the subject line Copyright Notice: [title or URL of the affected page].
Incomplete or unclear notices may delay our response. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to identify the work, locate the material, confirm your authority, or evaluate the claim.
3. How We Respond
We review copyright notices promptly and in good faith. Our response will depend on the facts, the material at issue, and applicable law.
After evaluating a notice, we may:
- Remove material or disable access to it
- Reduce or remove a quotation or excerpt
- Replace or remove an image, thumbnail, embed, or other media
- Disable or revise a link
- Correct or clarify attribution
- Request additional information from the notice sender
- Contact a source, licensor, service provider, or other relevant party
- Decline the request when we conclude that the material is authorized, licensed, in the public domain, permitted by law, not reasonably identifiable, or not located on a service we control
- Take another action we consider appropriate under the circumstances
Removal, modification, or restriction following a notice does not constitute an admission that infringement occurred. Likewise, requesting additional information or declining a request does not waive any rights or defenses.
Notices and related correspondence may be shared with our service providers, insurers, legal advisers, licensors, or other parties when reasonably necessary to investigate the claim, administer our response, protect legal rights, or comply with law.
4. Material Hosted by Third Parties
Some 1 Minute Signal pages may link to or embed material hosted by third-party platforms. We do not control material stored on those services.
If your complaint concerns the underlying material hosted by a third party rather than 1 Minute Signal’s own use of it, you may need to contact that platform or hosting provider directly. We may still review whether the link or embed should remain available through 1 Minute Signal.
5. Good-Faith Notices and Misrepresentations
Before submitting a notice, please consider whether the disputed use is authorized by the copyright owner, covered by a license, in the public domain, or permitted by law, including fair use.
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). False, fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith complaints may also have other legal consequences.
Please do not use the copyright-notice process to suppress criticism, reporting, analysis, commentary, or other lawful expression.
